On Tuesday, 9th May, two teams represented GIS in the Primary section of the annual Kuala Lumpur Novel Knockout reading competition at ISKL Melawati. This a very challenging competition where the participants need to read and remember every details written in all eight books, fiction and non-fiction. Our students competed against students from 15 other international schools, answering written and socrative question about all books they have been reading over the last term.
Our two teams came away with 1st and 2nd position, what a fantastic result. Well done to all the students involved for their commitment in preparing for the competition, as well as their performance on the day.
