We had a wonderful time with illustrator, Korky Paul, last Wednesday. He painted a picture for each year group and told us funny stories.

Book Week has begun at GIS. We are eager to "eat" as many books as we can this week.

The incredibly talented illustrator, Korky Paul, will be visiting us on 

November 12th to share his work with Reception, Yr1, Yr 2 and Yr3. Hurrah!!

Visiting Author - Morris Gleitzman

Years 4 - 7 were entertained by well-known Australian children's author, Morris Gleitzman, on Friday afternoon. Morris talked to our students for an hour about his life as an author. His advice when writing is to make sure your story has a good problem.
