Poet Paul Cookson returns to GIS
Paul Cookson is returning to GIS in June. We had so much fun with him last October that we asked to come back again to entertain us.

Novel Knockout Competition at Epsom College
On Wednesday, 11th May, two teams represented GIS in the Primary section of the annual KL Novel Knockout competition at Epsom College. This is a challenging competition where students need to read eight books and remember every detail. Eighteen teams from KL’s international schools took part in this fun reading event and our two teams scored in the top third of the competing teams. One of our teams, The Four Novelists, came in at 2nd place and The Fantastic Four came in at 6th place. We are very proud of our eight participants who were great ambassadors for our school.
